On the Frankfurt autoshow company Alfa Romeo has presented sports concept with not trivial name 8c Competizione.The car was projected in Alfa Romeo Style Centre and on plans of developers should become “reference point” with which revival of legendary sports traditions will begin. In 30-s’ and 4th year of last century the designation ‘ 8c ‘ marked sport penalties which were equipped with 8 cylinder engine, py. which well-known engineer Vittorio Jano was engaged. The term ‘ Competizione ‘ in a name new concept is borrowed from 50th years from not less well-known car 6C 2500 Competizione which under the guidance of racers Fangio and Zanardi participated in race Mille Miglia in 1950. In the basis of off-road car Alfa Romeo the platform of versatile person Alfa Romeo 156 Sportwagon has laid down.
