Company Honda on autoshow in Detroit has presented the conceptual compartment Honda Accord Coupe Concept which is, actually, a prototype of the future generation of all family Accord. As representatives of the Japanese mark speak, new sedan Honda Accord which will appear either in the end of flowing, or in the beginning of next year will look almost also. The extended headlights of head light, new, more angular form of a lattice of a radiator, and also original forward bumper with an air inlet in the centre and large deepenings on each side became the main style elements of an experimental compartment. Besides, at new Accord there will be massive, accurately outlined wheel arches and the original decision of a back part of a body with a massive cover of a luggage carrier. All future versions Honda Accord will receive also special power structure of a forward part of body ACE Body Structure which distributes energy of blow in case of failure more effectively. The similar design already equips models Honda Civic and CR-V. Exhibition sample Accord Coupe Concept has received the new version of three-litre motor V6. It is equipped by new generation of system Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) which disconnects a part of cylinders at movement since constant speed and, thereby, saves fuel and reduces quantity of the harmful substances which are thrown out in atmosphere. The similar engine then will appear and on serial “Chord”. Let’s remind also, that Honda Accord now is one of the most sold cars in the USA - since 1976 here it has been sold more than 9,5 million such cars.
