Citroen C Metisse 2006
On the Parisian motor show of 2006 the world premiere of concept car Citroën C-Métisse will take place. The perspective 4-door 4-seater compartment possesses the courageous and elegant lines of a body expressively outlined door with rich chromic furnish. C-Métisse Long 4,74 m, width 2 m and height only 1,24 m look aggressively. Strongly extended cowl and almost absent back cowl is reminded by cars of Golden Age Gran Turismo. On the headlights located on both parties from firm attribute on a lattice of a radiator, there are rulers of the light-emitting diodes joining serially, depending on an angle of turn of a steering wheel and speed of the car. Effective appearance C-Métisse is combined with high aerodynamic efficiency. The factor front in C-Métisse makes resistance of air only 0,30. Such result it was possible to reach thanks to the increased face-to-face air inlets, the flat bottom of the body, two sliding back rear wings and the rigid back stabilizer. Concept everyone is equipped by a hybrid power-plant consisting of diesel internal combustion engine V6 HDi DPFS with a 6-speed box of a gear change power of 208 h.p., and two electric motors with the twisting moment of 400 nanometers power of 20 h.p. The diesel hybrid technology does C-Métisse by ecologically pure car. In particular it concerns city mode ZEV in which silent movement exclusively on electric motors on distance to 3 km with a speed to 30 km/h is provided. The ecological mode works and on roads to a mode “dispersal-nakat”. In this case the hybrid architecture helps to limit the fuel expense thanks to work from two power supplies. If the driver long squeezes out an accelerator pedal, the forced mode joins. Simultaneously with an internal combustion engine electric motors join, and C-Métisse gets power high-speed sports bolide, keeping moderate consumption of fuel. From 0 to 100 km/h C Métisse it is dispersed for 6,2 with, and on kilometre sprint 25,4 seconds are required to it.
