Company Mercedes has started to work over the new version of a S-class with the diesel engine, the fuel expense on which does not exceed 6.6 l on 100 km of a way. As writes the German edition Auto Motor Und Sport, a new S-class will present in September on a motor show in Frankfurt. In the same place will show the version with diesel economic engine Bluetec in volume of the chamber of 2.2 l and power of 204 h.p. It is known also about company Mercedes intention for the first time to offer a S-class with the four-cylinder motor connected to hybrid system.

Sales Mercedes of a S-class of a new lineup will begin in 2008.
