Lamborghini has released on market Gallardo Superleggera and has started development of version Superleggera model of Murcielago.

The prototype of a novelty while takes place high-speed tests for a German track a Nurnburgring and “howls” of its engine V12 are perfectly audible in most tracks. Weight reduction Murcielago has been reached due to replacement of separate components (door panels, a cover of the engine, wings and external mirrors) same, but made of carboon. Lamborghini plans to reduce weight of the car by 100-150 kg. Thus, Murcielago Superleggera than 1500-1550 kg (the weight of the standard car makes 1665 kg) will weigh no more.

While it is not clear, whether remains in a base complete set on Superleggera a huge rear wing which we see on the prototype. Probably, it will suggest to install optionaly. With 700 horse power engine the car can speed up with ease in 350 km/h.

Murcielago Superleggera will show in September on the Frankfurt motor show.
